Weak yuan
With reference to the article “China to keep yuan weak till crisis” (Oct. 27), I must say that it is quite irresponsible on the part of China to keep yuan weak and have an unfair advantage in the world market.
With a weak yuan, China is able to increase its exports at throw away prices. It is affecting the demand for local produce. It is also affecting the exports of other developing countries, making it difficult for others to get over the ongoing financial crisis. The Chinese yuan has become a headache for the US and the IMF.
