Police in the capital were involved in two separate car chases Wednesday resulting in the arrest of drug dealers who had fled at the mere sight of police patrols in their proximity. The first arrest led to the seizure of an undisclosed quantity of hashish, and the second to the recovery of 60 bundles of the banned leaf qat.
