An Arab male was arrested on Tuesday accused of blackmailing a married woman by threatening to publish photographs of her on the Internet if she did not engage in “forbidden relations” with him. An Al-Jouf Police spokesman said that the married man was found in possession of images he had obtained from the woman's mobile telephone when he was asked to sell it on her behalf and failed to erase the data on the SIM card before selling it as requested. When the wife of the accused traveled abroad, he began making contact with the woman and attempted to blackmail her. During his arrest the man was also found in possession of pornographic CDs.
