Hilal and Al-Shabab respectively kept their positions on top of the standing after defeating Al-Ra'id and Al-Hazm in the seventh round of the Saudi Zain Professional League Wednesday. In the other two ties, Najran and Al-Fateh won their matches against Al-Ahli and Al-Qadisyyah. Al-Hilal midfielder Thiago Neves put his team in the lead in five minutes after the start. Coming from the defense line, Majed Al-Marshadi sealed the win five minutes before the final whistle. An injured Yasser Al-Qahtani was replaced with Eisa Al-Miheyyani in the 58th minute. From a foul outside the box on the right, Neves kicked the ball to bounce behind the back line of Al-Ra'id and into the right corner of the goalkeeper, Mohammed Al-Khawjali, in the fifth minute.
