The Directorate General of Passports has called on all Umrah pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet's Mosque from abroad to leave the Kingdom after performing their rituals and before the expiry date of their visas so that they shall not violate regulations and be subject to punishment. In a press statement issued on Wednesday, the Director General of Passports Directorate, Major General Salem Bin Mohammed Al-Bleihid said that the Directorate has completed its plan for the Umrah season for the year 1430H. He noted that in comparison with previous years, there has been a decrease in the number of those who came to perform Umrah and overstayed their visas. He said that this achievement has been due to the support and directives of Prince Naif Bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, and Prince Ahmad Bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Interior, as well as due to the follow-up and constant supervision of Prince Mohammed Bin Naif Bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs.
