Al-Shabab jumped to the second spot in standings after beating Al-Ra'id 2-0 in the sixth round match of the Saudi Zain Professional League match in Riyadh Thursday. Although Al-Shabab and Al-Hilal have 13 points each, a better goal average gives Hilal the edge. Al-Ittihad is third, but has two matches in hand. With one match in hand, Al-Ra'id is 10th with three points. Brazilian midfielder Marcelo Ramiro Camacho put Al-Shabab in front before Angolan striker Amado Flavio sealed the lead. The match witnessed aggressive performances from both sides and resulted in 10 yellow cards, six of those for Al-Shabab players.
