The Khiladi No. 1 of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar, has been honored with ‘Katana' for his longtime association with martial arts. It is considered as the highest honor amongst the Japanese. Akshay's long time association with the art has led him to receive the prestigious honor. Akshay has always portrayed the art through his films, keeping the tradition alive. The ceremony was held in Mumbai, where Akshay received the honor from Mehul Vora, the organizer of the first invitational National Open Karate Championship and Shihan Hirano Osamu, Grandmaster and founder of the Kuyukai International.
