Expat women
I HAVE been asked multiple times on whether a single expat woman can live outside of a compound in Riyadh. More specifically the question has focused on whether a single expat woman can live by herself in a villa in a residential area.
First, it may not be easy to find a landlord who would agree to rent a villa to a single woman. Chances are likely that her sponsor or some other authorized male would need to facilitate such an arrangement. I know of Saudi women who are either divorced or widowed who live by themselves in a villa but in my personal experience, I know of only one western expat woman who chose to live in a villa. A single expat woman needs to calculate carefully whether the risks and challenges of renting a private villa in a local residential area are worth it.

Jewish state?
ADDRESSING the world and the Palestinians on October 12, 2009, Benjamin Netanyahu parroted the usual Zionist lies to fool the world at large. While he demanded that Palestinian must recognize the Zionist occupation as a “Jewish State” – he blasted the report prepared by a UN team headed by a fellow Jew, the South African Judge, Goldstone, calling it: “The distorted report, written by this distorted committee undermines Israel's right to defend itself. The report encourages terrorism and threatens peace. Israel will not take risks for peace if it cannot defend itself.”
Then the cunning Zionist added: “For 62 years, the Palestinians have been saying ‘No' to the Jewish state. I am once again calling upon our Palestinian neighbors; say ‘Yes' to the the Jewish state. Without recognition of Israel as the state of the Jews we shall not be able to attain peace.”
Now, is there a way to tell this Zionazi PM that before demanding that the Palestinians recognize Israel as a “Jewish state” – the idiot should ask the world body (UN) and Tel Aviv to accept his lie. They all address “the country” as the “State of Israel”. With the exception of Israel's ministry of religious affairs – nothing can be found “Jewish” in Israel. The great majority of Zionist leaders are, and were, atheist (the only ‘Jewishness' they have was that they were given birth by Jewish women) and very anti-Semite in their writings and actions. The “country” tops the list of eveything which is regarded “unkosher” in Torah – from pornography to prostitution; from drugs to sex-slavery; from war to legal land robbery; from gayism to human organ trafficking; and using a foreign country (US) to wage wars against the Muslim world.

Street ViewStreet View trike
WITH Street View on Google Maps, you can take a virtual drive over the Golden Gate Bridge or see the bustle of Times Square from the comfort of your own home. But some of the country's most interesting and fun places aren't accessible with our Street View car. What if you want to tour the campuses of prospective universities, scout a new running trial, or plan the most efficient route to your favorite roller coasters in a theme park?
I first started thinking about this question around two years ago. My day job is working as a mechanical engineer on the Street View team, but I do a lot of mountain biking in my spare time. One day, while exploring some roads less traveled, I realized that I could combine these two pursuits and build a bicycle-based camera system for Street View. The result? The Street View trike.
I've already had a chance to take the Street View trike out to photograph some hard-to-reach places for Google Maps, like the Arastradero Open Preserve and LEGOLAND California. When I'm out riding – and once people understand what exactly I'm up to – I'm often asked if we can come to their alma mater, local bike trail or favorite beach boardwalk.
