A group of picnickers at the Royal Commission beach in Yanbu have saved a family of four from drowning when they were trying to save their son. The family was spending the weekend when their 5-year-old son when he slipped in a deep beach hole, prompting the mother to come to his rescue while carrying her 6-month-old baby. On their screaming, the father rushed to his wife and kids who were fighting against the current and jumped in trying to rescue them. But the current was strong, and with it were their cries for help attracting the attention of fellow picnickers who came to their rescue.
