Cheese lovers should cross the Kroger seasoning products off their shopping list due to potential Salmonella contamination, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs announced Saturday. The ministry said that it has started to withdraw the products from the markets. The ministry said that Kroger Popcorn Seasoning Movie Theater Butter Flavored, Kroger Popcorn Seasoning White Cheddar Flavored, and Kroger Fat Free Butter Flavored Sprinkles have been found to contain possibly Salmonella-contaminated Plainview Milk Products Cooperative manufactured over the past two years. The Plainview Milk Products Cooperative products are marketed to manufacturers for use in consumer products. Late June, Kroger Company announced that it would recall the three products The ministry has urged all shops carrying these products to destroy them.
