Police are looking into the theft of 10 camels removed from their enclosure and led on an exhausting 30-km-trek across desert land toward Wadi Al-Dawasir, where one of the beasts died. The thieves reportedly tied the remaining camels up close to dams in the region hoping they would not be spotted and, according to police, left to bring a truck, but the owner managed to locate them before they returned with the aid of trackers.
