100,000 students return to elementary schools today , Anti-swine flu measures in place

swine flu measures are in place as more than 100,000 students start their elementary schools Saturday.
Secondary and high schools reopened last Saturday after an extended holiday break.
The preventive program follows an eight-point plan based on Anti-Viral Disease Center measures in the US, said Ant-Swine Flu Campaign supervisor Sahr Abdul Wahab.
Meanwhile, Undersecretary for School Buildings Abdul Rahman Al-Ahmed said that 770 new school buildings for girls and boys are scheduled to open Saturday.
The new buildings comprise 420 schools for boys and 350 for girls.
The Ministry of Education is in the process of building 3,106 schools at a total cost of SR16 billion to put an end to the use of rented properties by 2012.
