The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has congratulated US President Barack Obama on winning this year's Nobel Peace Prize. The Saudi Ambassador to the United States, Adel Al-Jubeir, conveyed King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and the people of the Kingdom's congratulations to the US. Speaking about US President Obama, Al-Jubeir said that the efforts of President Obama since his address to the Muslim world in Cairo and his renewed active efforts for a solution to the Palestine-Israel conflict have raised hopes of people all over the world. President Obama Friday won the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for “his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples,” the Norwegian Nobel Committee said.
