Bacala, Orbit Pinoy Plus steal the show

Veteran Wilson Bacala displayed his fiery performances to bag the Bowler of the Week award and help Orbit Pinoy Plus claim its back-to-back Team of the Week award on the 24th week of the FBGR-Almarai Thursday Bowling League, 8th Conference.
The league is sponsored by Almarai Company and supported by the ABS-CBN The Filipino Channel (TFC).
Bacala's brilliant display powered Orbit Pinoy Plus to dismantle Talent Management, 20-10. Bacala posted a towering 884 series scratch in four games on lines of 254, 213, 214 and 203. Sparkling too were Atoi Ramos (794), Ariel Feliciano (784) and Glenn Espiritu (771). Resty de Jesus and Larry Baleros also seared the lanes to contribute 411 and 321 points respectively. Orbit Pinoy Plus climbed up the ladder to occupy the second topmost position, pushing down Talent Management to third spot.
Willie Ortega topscored in Talent Management by tallying 796 points and he was followed by fellow Efren Abuyo (776), Ferdie Ramos (743), Jett Cabana (737) and Gigi Enriquez (711).
Fuji Elevators upset defending champion Eraserheads, 19-3 through the collective team effort of Thong Asuncion (831), Ruel Toledo (794) and Jerry Austria (775). Fhel Ramos, Jojo Miraflor and Leo Mabunga chipped in 571, 338 and 337 points in order.
Armin Isles and Merlin Calooy shot separate series of 759 and 751 to lead in Eraserheads and coming next were Benito Santos (686), Arnel Gordovez (588) and Willy Nogoy (529). Jhun Macarandan had 157 in one game.
Over Hit rolled past Pangasinan Waves, 18-6, and the topscorer was the fastrising Hani Al-Nasleh with 834 points. Noel Ordonez, Arnold Quindara and Dennis Gabriel excelled by posting 778, 769 and 753 while Bobot Aguirre contributed 696 points.
Mario Rivera scored 724 points to be at the helm in Pangasinan Waves while Fred Dioquino and Ronie Arizo came next by adding separate series of 704 and 700. Bernie Magbag and Mario Salvador submitted 666 and 664.
SABB recorded 17-3 victory against Almarai Company and having the best output in SABB was Doy del Moral with 773 points. Del Moral was followed by Jojo Paciano (727), Ben Torrefiel (723) and Cas-Cas Encila (719). Francis Guron and Arnold Jesena registered 403 and 299 points,respectively.
Stesa-Thales defeated Boomerang, 13-9, and the leading scorers in Stesa-Thales was Joe Garido with 804 points and he was followed by Ruben Babasa (793), Dante Cambare (755) and Abe Abulencia (674). Edwin Nunez had 357 series in two games.
For the Boomerang, Rollie Cleofe and Gayner Elias led by carding 749 and 741 points while Benny Mondoy and Noli Ritual rolled 675 and 659. Rizal Dellosa and Larry Mondoy sealed 392 and 302.
Ventura Aces nipped Gran Matador, 11-9 through the sterling performances of Sydney Kawi (792), Ruben Tan (751), Jerry Damiray (703), Arnold Salcedo (694) and Sonny Alviso (691).
Fareed Aquino fired 774 points to be on top in Gra Matador while Nap Torres knocked down 737 points. Donjie Mapalad and Tony Napo collected 690 and 659.
