Engineering offices to pay municipal fees by ATM JEDDAH – The Mayor's office in Jeddah has introduced an ATM payment system to accept the payment of engineering office fees. The two staff members, Yazeed Miqbil and Yousif Al-Masa'ad, found the amount and identified the passenger through reservation records. They deposited the money in the bank account of the passenger who thanked them for their honesty and integrity. – Okaz/SG Saudi-Sudan civil aviation accord signed KHARTOUM – Saudi civil aviation authorities have signed an agreement with Sudan on transportation of pilgrims, Mohammed Abdul Aziz, Director General of the Sudanese Civil Aviation, has said. In a press statement he noted that the agreement comes in line with the ongoing policy aimed at extending the best possible services to the pilgrims. Special seating arrangements have been made for women with CCTV. – SG 28,000 employees receive late salary By Muhammad Al-Zahrani TAIF– The late payment of Ramadan salary for 28,000 employees of the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) was deposited in their accounts Tuesday. The company held off the salary to avoid any confusion and system glitches to pre-scheduled payments according to the Gregorian calendar, said Saud Al-Shammari, vice president for human recourses. Government agencies pay out Ramadan salaries at least 10 days ahead of Eid. The SEC plans to pay its employees at the end of each month in the Islamic calendar.
