The Ministry of Health has asked the public to report any private medical facility claiming to diagnose A-H1N1 swine flu or possess a swine flu vaccine. A ministry statement issued Monday said it had been notified of some private hospitals and medical centers making the claims, and reiterated that no private hospital or medical center laboratories had the facilities to diagnose the virus. The vaccine for swine flu is not yet available on the market, the ministry added, and asked the public to report any medical facility making claiming to diagnose or vaccinate to fax numbers 01-2124196 and 01-4082738. The National Scientific Committee for Contagious Diseases, meanwhile, has said that not a single Umrah pilgrim or seasonal visitor has died from the virus, and that none is currently in hospital with swine flu. All pilgrims and visitors who have been affected have made full recoveries, the committee said.
