Fifteen students of Mos'ab Ibn Omair Intermediate School suffered minor suffocation because of powder from fire extinguishers. The students had used the devices to fight a fire that broke out during a scouting exhibition in the school. The fire started in exhibits made of cork and textiles. The exhibition was supposed to open on Tuesday. Five Red Crescent paramedic teams treated the students before rushing them to King Faisal Hospital. The Director of Information at Taif's Health Affairs, Sa'eed Al-Zahrani, said the students' condition is stable. According to Mohammad Sa'eed Abu Ras, head of Taif's Education Department, the fire occurred in an extension room outside the school building.
