Salim, the under secretary of the interior ministry, arrived here today at the head of a delegation from the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is scheduled to hold talks with Iranian officials within the framework of the second meeting for the joint security committee. The talks are expected to take three days on the implementation of the security cooperation agreement signed by the kingdom and Iran in the month of Muharram, 1422 ah. The ninth article of the agreement stipulates establishment of a joint security committee under the co-chairmanship of the Saudi and Iranian interior ministers or their deputies. Dr. Al-Salim was welcomed at the airport by Saudi ambassador to Iran Osama Bin Ahmad Al-Sanousi and a number of officials.
