An Indian man and a woman of Indonesian nationality were arrested at the latter's home in Al-Nazha District Saturday on charges of “khulwa”, or being in seclusion with an unrelated member of the opposite sex. Following a tip-off from a member of the public the house was put under surveillance and the Indian male was observed using his own key to enter the premises. A subsequent raid led to the arrest of the couple and the seizure of large amounts of cash, and police believe that the 39-year-old Indonesian lady, who was residing in the Kingdom illegally, used the premises to receive large numbers of male visitors.
