A Burmese national was arrested Friday minutes after killing his supervisor in a carpentry workshop in Al-Khumrah District. The Burmese man allegedly hit the head of his boss with a wooden plank that proved fatal. First Lt. Nawaf Al-Boug, spokesman of Jeddah Police, said the injured man was taken to the hospital but died before any treatment could be given to him. The Burmese national, Al-Boug said, tried to escape from the scene of the crime but his colleagues shut him inside the shop before the arrival of the police.
