More than 200 Saudi businesswomen will participate in the first meeting aimed at discussing the latest improvements in the field of business, and to high ight the effects of global financial crisis on businesswomen in Saudi Arabia, especially in the real estate field and the opportunities available for them after the crisis. The meeting today (Sunday) will be held at Le Meridien Hotel Jeddah. It will be attended by most successful Saudi businesswomen, and those who were affected by global crisis during the last year, in addition to members from Emaar, King Abdullah Economic City, Al-Ahli Bank, and many others in the private sector. “Such meeting allows us to discuss several issues and themes regarding our work and future projects since we are the first alliance of Saudi businesswomen to establish specialized real estate company umanaged by female staff, “said Aziza Mansour, a businesswoman and chairman of the board of a real estate company. She said they want to review their role in detecting the dimensions of the global financial crisis on entrepreneurs and businesswomen in the field of real estate, particularly on monopoly. “We are looking to have an extraordinary effort to complete the work, we must recognize the ladies too, where the idea of activating the women role in the real estate field started about three years ago.” Several annual meetings will be held by the Saudi businesswomen aiming to discuss their objectives, as well as ambitious in the field of real estate development. “Saudi businesswomen should prove themselves in the field of real estate,” said Muhjat Abdulkarim, a Saudi businesswomen, and board member and director of marketing of a real estate development company. Several courses will be held for Saudi businesswomen and bankers where they will be able to learn how to present their working papers on new investment opportunities that are available after the global crisis. “These courses will help the businesswomen learn the new mortgage system that is expected to be issued very soon,” Abdulkarim added. “Our aim is to launch several courses in order to expand the awareness level about women participation in real estate field and stymie the intervention of non-professionals in this field.” “The session will cover all the important aspects of marketing and real estate development as well as real estate valuation, where I am considered the first woman to pass a specialized course in real estate valuation at the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.” __
