The Expat Darters of Saudi Arabia (EDSA) organized a classified singles dart competition, dubbed as “Mobily-Mabuhay Dartfest” at the basement of Manila Plaza recently. The competition was sponsored by Mobily in cooperation with the SE Productions. After a month of intense competition, veteran Jojo Cantero won the Class A championship trophy and the Most Valuable Player award. He also received cash prize and other gift items from Mobily. Another seasoned player Bernard Bernardino claimed the Class B championship trophy, a cash prize from EDSA, and gift items from Mobily. Tonnet Villejo, who thrilled the crowd with his skills in the least dart and highest-out, clinched a trophy and gift items, courtesy of Mobily. A plaque of appreciation was awarded to Ashraf Mustafa of Mobily and Rannie Basante. The dart tournament was held under the leadership of EDSA president Lino Leonardo and EDSA tournament director Romy “Muhammad” Gorembalem. The 30th EDSA Inter-Commercial Dart Team tournament is in its second round. The leading teams are the Brand One, LCL and Pardz team. Strongly heading for the MVP honor is Gelo Abenio of Pardz, while Henry Faustino of Alesayyi Motors and Nardo Vidal are still in the pole position. The highest outing at 148 and three T80's in a row have put the invincible Fernando Castro in winning position for the highest out and most T80 title. This tournament is sponsored by EDSA. __
