Warning on Canadian herbal product

The Saudi Drug and Food Authority (SDFA) has warned the public against using the Gluco Life herbal remedy promoted on local markets as beneficial to sufferers of diabetes. The SDFA said in a statement that the Canadian-produced capsules contain levels of arsenic and lead harmful to the liver and kidneys and can also be a cause of anemia.
