Over 3,000 Saudi and expatriate women participated in the first charity exhibition that concluded this week at Jeddah Hilton. Thirty Saudi and international companies and 100 families displayed their handicraft works at the exhibition organized by Aleba Wal Roqi (Pride and Progress) Group in cooperation with Al-Oula Charitable Society. The exhibition also displayed different products and services of interest to women, such as cosmetics, personal accessories, household goods, cars, gold jewelry, handicrafts, abayas and clothing. Nisreen Al-Idrisi, director general of the Women's Charity Association in Makkah, appreciated the support extended by Princess Abta Bint Miqrin Bin Abdul Aziz. Haifa, executive director of the exhibition, expressed her satisfaction at the overall success of the exhibition. She noted that part of the proceeds from the exhibition will be earmarked for orphans and children with special needs, and families with limited income.
