Air Arabia announced that it will introduce service to the holy city of Madina from its main hub in Sharjah, beginning Sept. 1, 2009. Medina is Air Arabia's 58th destination worldwide and fourth in Saudi Arabia. The launch of this new destination is part of Air Arabia's strategy to strengthen its network in the Kingdom. Beginning Sept. 1, roundtrip flights will operate two times per week between Prince Mohammad Bin Abdul Aziz International Airport in Madina and Air Arabia's hub in Sharjah.
