All Pakistanis living in the Kingdom must respect laws of the land and work with a true spirit of patriotism, Rahman Malik, the visiting Pakistani Interior Minister, said here Saturday evening. He said relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are becoming stronger by the day with increased cooperation between the two countries in several fields. On domestic issues, the minister said the over 2.5 million Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) who had fled Swat valley due to fighting are now returning to their homes safely. The minister thanked all political parties particularly Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) for their cooperation with the government during the military operation against Taleban. Pakistani army has achieved tremendous success in eliminating Taleban militants and other anti-social elements from the northwest region in record time, the minister said speaking at an Iftar party at the Conference Palace hosted by Ambassador Umar Khan Ali Sherzai. Leading community members also attended the party.
