Hilal Club sent Saturday a petition to the disciplinary committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) to review the decisions taken after the recent match in Makkah. In his letter Prince Mohammed Bin Faisal, President of Al-Hilal, requested the punishment on the club's Libyan player Tariq Al-Ta'ib to be reduced to two matches from four. The petition also sought that the next match to be moved to a neutral venue from the opponent's home ground. Al-Hilal and Al-Wehdah match that ended 2-1 in favor of the Riyadh team witnessed unruly behavior from Al-Wehdah supporters who threw empty cans and shoes at Al-Ta'ib. The latter reacted and spat on Wehdah fans. The Hilal supporters too could not resist, seeing their star being insulted. They immediately started throwing water bottles and shoes at the red team supporters. After the match, the disciplinary committee of the SAFF took serious decisions, including the 4-match ban on Al-Ta'ib. The committee also ordered both teams to play one of their home matches away. __
