IHG rewards Iftar diners with free nights across its network
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 30 - 08 - 2009

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is celebrating Ramadan as a time for family and friends to come together by offering free nights at more than 60 of its hotels across the Middle East and Africa.
Guests who enjoy Iftar at participating InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon can book a three-night weekend stay and pay for only two.
Iftar diners receive a voucher which can be redeemed for the ‘Stay 3. Pay 2' weekend offer at 62 InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels in 10 Middle East and Africa countries.
Each voucher entitles a guest to a third free night for a maximum of two adults and two children under 12, providing they book their stay between September 21 and August 31, 2010.
Tom Rowntree, vice president Commercial, IHG MEA, said: “With more than 35 years of heritage in the Middle East and Africa and the largest network of hotels in the region, IHG understands the importance of Ramadan as a time for family and for giving.
“Great-value promotions are more important than ever, and the ‘Stay 3. Pay 2' campaign really plays to the strengths of IHG across the region: an extensive network spanning a variety of destinations, first-class dining, and a selection of internationally known branded hotels designed to exceed the expectations of our leisure guests. Booking a weekend break has never been so rewarding.”
A complete list of participating hotels is available on the dedicated microsite www.3for2weekend.com, along with a comprehensive guide to the IHG hotels serving a delicious selection for Iftar across the Middle East.
A table of at least four diners receives one promotional voucher, with the voucher going to the guest paying the bill. Group bookings of between 21-40 diners receive two vouchers, and every reservation of an additional 20 guests gets an extra voucher.
As if that weren't enough, guests registering their vouchers online go into a raffle draw to win another three free nights inclusive of buffet breakfast for two adults and two children under 12 over Eid Al
