Increased vigilance at checkpoints in Dhulum, Radhwan and Al-Ateef has led to the arrest of eight persons wanted for drugs-related offenses. The eight, who were detained at three separate checkpoints Wednesday, were all on wanted lists issued by the anti-drugs department and police suspected of distributing and dealing in illegal narcotics.
