A Saudi woman who was kidnapped at knife-point while out shopping in Houston 12 days ago suffered no sexual assault during the attack which left her unconscious, the Saudi consulate said Tuesday. The woman was taken out of a shopping mall on Aug. 14 by two knife-wielding men who forced her into a van where she was bound and her head covered. The woman told investigators that the men attempted to inject her with a drug, but when she resisted they hit her until she passed out. Police found her the following day as she returned to consciousness in the street and took her to hospital, later informing her brother and the Saudi consulate. Recently completed medical tests have now shown that she suffered no sexual assault during her ordeal.
