King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Sunday received Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Omar Diawara, Dean of Diplomatic Corps and Ambassador of Burkina Faso to the Kingdom, and deans of diplomatic groups accredited to the Kingdom. The deans of diplomatic groups included Qatar's Ambassador and Dean of Arab Group; Libya's Ambassador and Dean of African Group; Kazakhstan's Ambassador and Dean of Asian Group; Mexico's Ambassador and Dean of North America Group; Brazil's Ambassador and Dean of South America Group; Australia's Ambassador and Dean of Atlantic Group; Germany's Ambassador and Dean of European Group; and ambassadors from GCC countries. The ambassadors conveyed to the King the greetings of the leaders of Gulf, Arab, Islamic and friendly countries on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan. The ambassadors expressed their thanks to and appreciation of the King for the audience, wishing the Kingdom steady progress and prosperity. They appreciated the leading role and great efforts exerted by the King for the achievement of security and peace in various regional and international arenas. On his part, the King sent his greetings to the leaders of these countries, wishing prosperity and progress all over the world. The audience was attended by Prince Miqren Bin Abdul Aziz, President of General Intelligence Presidency, and several other princes. Separately, the Monarch also received scholars, sheikhs, senior officials, and a group of citizens who came to greet and congratulate him on the blessed month of Ramadan. Dr. Sheikh Ahmed Hussein Al-Mojan, a judge at the Court of Grievances, highlighted the Kingdom's progress and its achievements during the rule of King Abdullah. He also thanked Almighty Allah for bestowing a full recovery to Crown Prince Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.”
