Back to school on Oct.3 despite swine flu fears

Schools will reopen after the summer holidays as scheduled on Oct. 3 despite fears of swine flu spreading, the Ministry of Health has said ahead of a meeting Monday between the ministries of Education and Health to discuss measures to combat the virus.
Health Ministry spokesman Khalid Marghalani said that a meeting held Saturday agreed that a memorandum of understanding will be signed by Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, and Abdullah Al-Rabe'ah, Minister of Health, during Monday's gathering.
