Some 1,000 girls in the age group of 10-16 are participating in Manarat Alata program's Mobile Iftar and Food Basket projects during Ramadan. The program's female section director Fatimah Al-Dhuwaiyan said the section received thousands of requests from volunteers. “The girls are packaging and wrapping Iftar meals at the program's factory,” she said. The girls will also work on packaging food baskets that will be distributed to the poor and needy in a number of Eastern Province cities.
