Bulgarian Minister of Economy, Energy, and Tourism Traicho Traikov stressed Thursday the importance of bolstering economic ties with Kuwait, noting the strong bilateral relations between the two countries, KUNA reported. Traikov told KUNA that his country will call on Kuwait to hold the 16th session meetings for the joint economic cooperation committee in November. The minister added that during such meetings there are a number of economic, technological and scientific issues to be discussed with the Kuwaiti side, particularly issues regarding previously signed agreements between the two sides in Sofia in 2006. The minister stressed importance on boosting economic relations similar to the level of political bilateral relations, especially after the signing of a number of draft agreements on economic cooperation and his country's new membership in the European Union. The minister also expressed belief that there are capabilities which were not utilized in the joint cooperation, noting on the existing political will in both sides. Meanwhile, 20 years ago, it was inconceivable that one could make money without owning a shop or a company selling products. The Internet revolution, however, has transformed this state of affairs and introduced a new flavor to retail. The Internet is becoming more prevalent and connection costs are falling, while broadband speeds are accelerating and computers themselves are becoming more compact and cheaper by the day; this brings more and more costumers to the virtual reality, and has turned the contemporary dot com industries into the most promising, attractive and profitable businesses in the world.
