A number of experts in the field of insurance from Arab and Islamic countries have been invited to participate in a symposium being organized by Al-Barka Bank on Islamic economy which focuses on the legality of insurance and debt in Islam. The symposium is scheduled for Saturday. Osman Al-Hadi Ibrahim, Managing Director of Shaikan Insurance Company in Sudan, will present a research paper highlighting all types of insurance indicating the current global trend toward Islamic economy and Islamic financial products. Other experts in the field are also scheduled to address the symposium about the same topic and the progress made in the field.
