A Somali national was arrested here Sunday for murdering his compatriot by beating him and smashing his head against a wall several times with help from another of his countryman. Brigadier Yousuf Al-Qahtani, spokesman for the Eastern Province Police, showed the room in Al-Thuqbah District where the murder took place which was rented by a Somali national who fled to Asir. The man arrested was his roommate who said they murdered the victim because of tribal disputes in their country, he said. Police here are coordinating with their counterparts in Asir to arrest the main suspect.
