meter-long mural titled “Father Abdullah” depicting the Kingdom's economic and urban growth and expressing the love of 1,200 disabled and orphan children toward King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, shows the children's talents and their spontaneous way of translating what is in their minds. The children who came from 30 charitable societies and rehabilitation centers in the Makkah region participated in painting the mural at the conclusion of Saudi Aramco's ninth festival for special needs children in Jeddah. Fatima Hasnain, the supervisor of the Father Abdullah painting campaign, said the children were directed and assisted during painting but their ideas and creativity were not interfered with.
