Saudi Indian Football Forum (SIFF), an association of Indian football clubs in Jeddah, has elected its new office bearers for the year 2008-9 at its annual general body meeting held last week. A panel, which was presented by Mustafa and supported by M.K. Abdu, as T.P. Ahmed as president, Mohammed Ali as secretary and V.K. Rauf as treasurer, was unanimously approved by the general body. Founding president Dr. Abdullah Moopan supervised the proceedings as the presiding officer. Usman Irumpuzhi, Alavi Aruveetil and Nizamuddin are the vice presidents and Sadiq P. Wandoor, Ayyoob Musliyarakath and Abdu are the joint secretaries. Dr. Abdullah Moopan, Vallanchira Mohammed Ali and Papatta Kunhjimohammed are the advisers. The other office-bearers are: Mohammed Mukhtar, Hamza Alungal and M. Sulaiman (working committee), K.P. Adul Salam, K.O. Paulson, Rasheed Alikkal, Mohammed Saeed, Sudheer, E.K. Saleem, K.V.A. Gafoor, Baby and Anwar Vallanchira (executive members) and Mohammed Kutty (auditor). The new committee which held its first meeting soon after the general body meeting decided to institute trophies in memory of late SIFF members Abdul Aziz and Abdul Rahman.
