A Syrian man was executed in the north-western Saudi city of Tabuk on Friday for drug trafficking, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Ibrahim Hussein Al-Jarkh, a Syrian, was executed after having been convicted of smuggling a quantity of narcotics, said a statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Interior. The court convicted him, and the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Judicial Council approved the verdict. The statement confirmed the determination of the Saudi government on ensuring law and order and severely punishing the criminals.
