Director General of the Department of Zakat and Income Tax Ibrahim Mohammed Al-Miflih said that the legal deadline for presenting Zakat (Islamic tax) and tax statements, which is 120 days from the end of the financial year will end at the end of the working hours of upcoming Tuesday, the 29th of April. Statements are required from resident money companies (foreign and mixed) and non-resident companies that practice their activities in the Kingdom through a permanent establishment and resident non-Saudi individuals practicing their activities in the Kingdom and subject to the Income Tax Regulations issued by the Royal Decree number M1, whose financial years end on the 31st of December, 2007. The department urged all to abide by the legal dates of presenting tax statements.
