A groom here was forced to divorce his wife during the wedding festivities over a dispute between the two families over the playing of music. Several people present at the function said the groom's mother had put a condition that no musical instrument was to be used during the festivities except the tambourine. The bride's mother, people said, told the band to use the piano after the first song, much to the disliking of the groom's mother who demanded that the music be stopped forthwith. The wedding hall then became a boxing ring with the two families trading blows and putting an end to the marital bliss of the young couple.
