Indian seamer Shanthakumaran Sreesanth on Saturday signed to play for English county Warwickshire and could make his debut in Sunday's 40-over match against Leicestershire at Edgbaston. The 26-year-old Sreesanth has 50 Test wickets, 59 One-Day International wickets and has taken a total of 143 first-class wickets in his career. Warwickshire director of cricket Ashley Giles said: “We have some very important matches coming up and he will be a great boost to our attack. He has international experience, which is a great asset.” Mortaza needs surgery Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza needs surgery on both knees and is expected to have an operation on Monday, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) said in Dhaka on Saturday. Mortaza visited Australian orthopaedic surgeon David Young in Melbourne on Friday and was advised to have arthroscopic surgery on his knees, the BCB said in a statement.
