A group of Ministry of Culture and Information officials met Monday with the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) to hear its experienced views on information technology and the applications of electronic government. The team of ministry officials met SCTA vice chairman for Marketing and Media Abdullah Al-Juhani and the designated vice president of the Support Division Abdul Aziz Aal Al-Sheikh, who expounded on SCTA use of computerized work and its advanced applications. “It's well-known the SCTA is one of the best establishments in the Kingdom in the field of applying electronic applications in its work,” said team member Saleh Al-Saleh. The SCTA has obtained a number of awards for information technology, among them the Oracle Award for excellence in electronic applications and a European award for the best governmental body to introduce electronic management.
