The Saudi Aramco Summer Festival 2009 being held at the company's exhibition area in Dhahran under the motto “Our summer is a mirror for our conduct” has attracted more than 12,000 visitors. The festival includes the “Children's Technology Park” and “My Plan” programs, which have received an enthusiastic response due to their impact on children and their future education. In these two programs, children are exposed to some of the secrets of science and technology. They learn about the capabilities of computers which may in the future help them choose a career. The festival's activities include social lectures, poetic evenings, and educational movies in addition to computer science courses.
