Pact on desalination technology research

The Membrane Center at Singapore's Nanyang University and King Saud University in Riyadh have signed an agreement to conduct joint applied research on desalinated water in the Kingdom. The research will look into the creation of technology superior to the standard energy-consuming reverse osmosis method in order to reduce production costs.
