Pedro Almodovar has revealed he would like to cast Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in a film together. But the Spanish filmmaker said it would be tricky to pin the couple down as they are both so in-demand. Speaking about Javier - who he cast in his 1997 film Live Flesh - Pedro said: “I would like to cast him again if I find the right character. They (Penelope and Javier) are becoming too important (to work with) me.” Asked if he would like to cast them in a film together, Pedro said emphatically: “Yes!”.
