Huqail, the head of the Saudi Railways Organization, has launched a group of electronic services to enable the public to book tickets through the SRO website and self-service machines that are available in stations in Riyadh, Dammam and Hafouf. Muhammad Abu Zaid, Director of the SRO Public Relations Department, said that the organization has recently launched a system involving the issuance of electronic tickets and the sending of SMS messages to customers to inform them of their booking confirmation and the timing of their travel. The organization has also started operating an IVR service which enables clients to book seats by phone.
