Amy Winehouse nearly died after a three-day heroin and crack binge, he has revealed. Blake Fielder-Civil, 27, told how the singer's eyes went blank and she had a fit before she passed out and stopped breathing. He told The Sun: “It was nearly midnight and I'd finally got her upstairs. We were sitting on the bed talking. Her eyes suddenly went blank...” He continued: “She started having a fit on the bed. She slid down on to the floor before I could stop her. She started quivering again and it suddenly grew into what seemed like a full-blown epileptic fit.” He added: “I thought she was dying in my arms... I couldn't bear for her to die in front of me.” The 25-year-old star had started a drugs binge three days earlier to celebrate the success of her 2006 album Back To Black, the newspaper reported.
