The Islamic Corporation for Insurance of Investment and Export Credit signed an agreement here today with Sudanese Shaikan Company for Insurance and Reinsurance, Division of Livestock Exporters, on increasing livestock imports, estimated at more than one million US dollars a year from Sudan to the Kingdom. The Corporation's Director General Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Tayyeb Ali Taha, who signed the agreement, said that the insurance policy to be issued by the company will enable Sudanese banks to provide the necessary funding for increasing Sudanese livestock imports into the Kingdom during Haj season. The signing ceremony was attended by President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali and Sudan's Consul General in Jeddah, Mahmoud Fadhel Abdulrasul.
