The Islamic Corporation For Insurance of Investment and Export Credit signed an agreement Sunday with Sudanese Shaikan Company for Insurance and Reinsurance, Division of Livestock Exporters to increase livestock imports from Sudan estimated at more than $1 million. The Corporation's director general, Dr. AbdulRahman Al- Tayyeb Ali Taha, who signed the agreement, said that the insurance policy to be issued by the company will enable Sudanese banks to provide the necessary fundings for increasing Sudanese livestock imports to the Kingdom during the Hajj season. The signing ceremony was attended by President of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Ali and Sudan's Consul General in Jeddah, Mahmoud Fadhel AbdulRasul.
